Re: Need help
Rilian click is when you, after making a chord by releasing the right mouse button, then release the left mouse button. It is called after Arbiter's author Rilian because in Arbiter versions prior to 0.45 this action counted as a left click (so if you made it above a closed cell, it was opened). As ...

Re: MySweeper - another new clone
I tried the linux (i386) version, and i quite like it. I'm certainly not a Curtis-level expert on how the mouse should behave, but i don't see any irregularities. The counters and history are quite nice and useful. The only bug i'm having is that the window isn't being resized properly on applicatio...

Re: new benchmark: 3bv for flaggers
This new version of zinicalc supports RawVF, doesn't complain about FSVF extension and is able to write a RawVF video of zinicalc solving the board according to the algorithm, so you can watch the algorithm in work, eg, using freesweeper, example attached.

Indeed, there is. The bug affects squares adjacent to openings, their premia are counted incorrectly. Thank you for reporting.senfti wrote:Is Arbiter just using a different interpretation of the algorithm description or is there a bug?

Oh well. Re: Minesweeper-esque RPG
A nice game to play if you have a free half an hour. Won first try in 33:09 with 142 mistakes. The logical part of the game is real fun. The RPG part seems to be unbalanced. I always had enough money to buy/upgrade every item, and i never had to really choose between two items, because one of two wa...

Re: Freesweeper - a new cross-platform clone
Hi Cryslon, the video in the attachment is normal in clone0.97,but in freesweeper, the rest mine is -1,and the video is incomplete. Thank you for reporting this curious bug, and thanks [name removed]for quickly spotting where the thing happened. The reason for this behaviour is a bug in mvf2rawvf, pl...

Re: Open, human-readable minesweeper video format
Fixed the bug with incorrect processing of simultaneous mouse press and release events of different buttons. Clone saves only current mouse state, not mouse events, in MVF, and thinks that release events precede press events; mvf2rawvf previously thought press events preceded click events.

Re: Freesweeper - a new cross-platform clone
My several thoughts: 1, Bigger square maybe very excellent for Huge Screen with 1920*1080+ solution. How to count distance? 2, Can it be possible that I can load my Arbiter history file to FS and load FS history file to Arbiter? 3, Can it be possible that I can convert *.avf to *.fsvf and also *.fs...

Yep, the thousandths are a result of a bug. This thing will be fixed in the next version.gacord wrote:when playing my avf I found the time showed on FS is slightly different from original video

Where can I set my video text? Double-click on the label showing it. And what does "luck" feature mean? Luck feature is enabled only on lucky and cheat modes. Basically, it begins working when you hit a mine; it looks whether you were making a forced guess, and rearranges mines if you were, and gue...

I release a new version mainly designed to be a better minesweeper video player. This new version shouldn't crash when you're trying to preview video; also it deals with the timer freezing bug by exiting.

I think it is necessary to put forward these issues to the forum Indeed it is. Thank you for your contribution. During the playback, if we wish to see just one period of time, for example, from 23 to 25 second, we couldn't drag the progress bar directly to that place and watch it. (I don't believe ...

BTW, I found some MVF videos which was made by Clone 0.97 can not be parsed by your code. Seems to me the games were played on a hacked version of Clone... At least the original strings were deleted and replaced with the empty ones - we can only guess why it was done. Actually, you can found 3BV an...

Re: Open, human-readable minesweeper video format
Yeah, that's because, unlike MVF, AVF doesn't contain 3BV. avf2rawvf isn't meant to analyze videos or output anything besides already present bits.zhangshenjia wrote:there is no 3BV and Time in avf2rawvf....
That's what rawvf2rawvf is for.

Re: Arbiter development
I've added a feature to add F/NF to the file name for autosaved games, and a verbose mode proposed by Aradesh; also the mechanism of the timer has been slightly changed.
About the bug with time stop: it's caused by the internal timer mechanism, i was unable to find a quick way to fix it.
