Dosmines was written for DOS in 1991 by James Yin.
DOSMINES is based on a MS Windows 3 game called MINES by Ian Heath. Just run the program, DOSMINES, to see the instructions to play the game. There is a guaranteed possible path to reach the bottom-right corner of any land generated.
The game is 16x16 with 30 mines as default but you can choose from 30 to 140 mines. You can play with a mouse if you have a mouse driver. When you reach the bottom right corner you need to click the square otherwise the game does not end. There is no timer and there are no highscores. An interesting feature is that despite no chording, when you open a square on the edge of an opening, the opening opens.
