Land Mines (1983)

a.k.a. Landmines, Minefield

Overview
Land Mines was written in 1983 for the Memotech MTX by Jim Wills.

The game is a 30*20 grid and your job is to use the mine detector to reach the house at the top of the screen. The detector works vertically and horizontally but not diagonally. If you cross the screen a new level will begin with additional mines or features; for example, on Level 4 you earn extra points for collecting a person on the minefield. You start with 5000 points and lose 10 points for each move, but you receive bonus points when you complete a level. The highscore list remembers your best score...until you turn off the computer of course!
