Minefield 2 was published in 1983 for the Commodore PET by the Toronto PET Users Group (TPUG).

Try to navigate the minefield avoid the mines.

The game was included on Disk (P)GD "Games 8" for the PET 4032. Your task is to cross the minefield from left to right. There are no clues. The four difficulty levels are 25 mines, 50 mines, 25 moving mines and 50 moving mines. Moving mines do not make the game more difficult; unlike other versions that provide number clues you have no idea where any of the mines were located because each move is a guess.

The following attributes can be used to map the evolution of Minesweeper. Blue cells are confirmed attributes for official versions of Minefield 2. Yellow cells are unknown.
