Minefield was originally written in 1986 for the Commodore Plus/4 by Gerti Noherr.

In diesem Spiel sind Sie ein gefährlich lebender Abenteurer. Nur mit einem ungenauen Minen-detektor ausgerüstet, müssen Sie ein von hoch-explosiven Minen übersätes Feld überqueren. Eine High-Score-Liste auf Diskette gehört natürlich auch dazu. Falls Sie kniffelige und ausgefallene Strategiespiele lieben, ist »Minefield« genau das richtige.

Your job is to cross a 30*15 minefield. There are 4 density levels and you are awarded 1 to 4 points per opened cell (depending on the level). A highscore list is saved for each level and you can move diagonally. Training Mode lets you see the mines.

The following attributes can be used to map the evolution of Minesweeper. Blue cells are confirmed attributes for official versions of Minefield. Yellow cells are unknown.
