Minesweeper Game Database

Minefield (1987)

Overview
Minefield was written for the Apple II in 1987 by Matthew Clark.

In this game, the object is to cross a minefield safely and reach the flag on the opposite side of the field. For convenience, a mine detector is at your disposal. The detector indicates how many mines are surrounding you at any given location. Minefield is for one or two players. During the two player game, if one of the players is blown up, the other can continue moving, until he either wins or dies trying. You also have the option of leaving your trail behind, so you know where you've been.

The game allows 1 to 50 mines in a 15*15 grid.
