You must cross a 15*9 grid with 10 to 40 mines using number clues. Features include the ability to mark suspected mines with [M] and safe locations by [0] with a "safeGame" option to prevent you walking onto marked mines. In addition, numbers remain in cells after you move. If you press [?] the game will solve all obvious squares.
Code was published in Dr. Dobbs magazine in April 1990 as an example program using the TopSpeed C compiler.
The following attributes can be used to map the evolution of Minesweeper. Blue cells are confirmed attributes for official versions of Kaboom. Yellow cells are unknown.
