Kaboom (1989)

Overview
Kaboooom was written in 1989 for MS-DOS by Thomas Eldredge II.

You must cross a 15*9 grid with 10 to 40 mines using number clues. Features include the ability to mark suspected mines with [M] and safe locations by [0] with a "safeGame" option to prevent you walking onto marked mines. In addition, numbers remain in cells after you move. If you press [?] the game will solve all obvious squares.

Code was published in Dr. Dobbs magazine in April 1990 as an example program using the TopSpeed C compiler.
