Minesweeper (1977)

Overview
Minesweeper was an arcade game written by Amutech in 1977.

This coin operated arcade game was a clone of Blockade, which was published in 1976 by Gremlin Industries. It is a two player game where visible mines are placed in previously occupied spaces. Each player moves at a fixed speed and you lose by moving onto mines (either your opponent's mines or your mines). The genre inspired the Snake game that was popular on early mobile phones in the 1990s.
