In this game you have to guide your way across a minefield. Your radar tells you of mines that are on adjacent squares, but cannot look any further. Survive two levels of mines, and the monsters start chasing after you. Survive two levels of those, and the mines start shifting as well!
The game was published in the cassette magazine 64 Tape Computing (English #4, Spanish #2, Norwegian #3). The other programs were Memory Save, Ghostle, African Adventure, Focus Interupt, Raster Interupt and Background Music.
Game starts out as a generic Minefield variant but later levels borrow ideas from Mined-Out. Level 3 introduces monsters that chase you (like the spider) and Level 5 introduces shifting mines (like the mine-spreader).
The following attributes can be used to map the evolution of Minesweeper. Blue cells are confirmed attributes for official versions of Mine Zone. Yellow cells are unknown.
