Mines - Game Overview

Mines was written for RISC OS in 1994 by Michael Borcherds.

Game has standard Windows Minesweeper levels of Beginner (8x8, 10 mines), Intermediate (16x16, 40 mines) and Expert (30x16, 99 mines). Questionmarks are optional and you chord by pressing the right ("Adjust") button. You can lose on your first click but there is an option to make the four corners always safe. A Hint feature will place an exclamation mark on cells you can solve without guessing but this makes the game invalid for the Highscores list.

One odd quirk is that clicking the smiley face to start a new game only works if you've actually lost the current game.
