Mines - Game Overview

Mines was written as an Ovation Pro applet in 1997 by Daniel Barron.

Mines was inspired by Mine Hunt (1992) for RISC OS. Ovation Pro is a desktop publishing program for RISC OS and Windows. The game works in Ovation Pro 2.42 or later as an applet.

The game is 10x10 with 10 mines. The graphics are # for mines, @ for flags and * for questionmarks. You place flags in Flag mode and open squares in Foot mode, alternating between modes as you play and only using the Left ('Select') mouse button. There are no Highscores. If you win it displays a "Woopy Do Dar!" message and if you lose it gives "Bye Bye Dodo". You must flag all mines to win.
