Top Mines for Windows
Top Mines was written for Windows in 1994 by M. J. Geuzebroek.
The game has difficulty levels of Easy (8x8 with 10 mines), Medium (16x16 with 40 mines) and Hard (30x20 with 99 mines). You can also play Custom games up to 43x26 with 559 mines. The Highscore for each level is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
The most interesting feature is that the default game wraps around edges and you can scroll to change the view but you can switch to normal Windows Minesweeper mode ("borders"). The default chording method is a left click but you can choose "Windows press" mode to chord with both buttons. Square open when you press (not release) the mouse button and there is an optional soundtrack.
Top Mines does not come with a Help file despite having a Help menu!
