Tommy's Minesweeper was written for DOS in 1996 by Tommy's Toys.
Try to locate and mark all the mines in the minefield before you set one off. You can set the difficulty level as any number from 1 (easiest) to 9 (hardest). As the difficulty goes up so does the size of the field and the number of mines hidden. For difficulty level 1 only, an unmined sector is exposed for you free to get your started. For unregistered shareware versions of this toy, you can only play up to difficulty level 2. Your score is 20,000 minus the number of seconds you took to mark all the mines. In addition, 1 point is subtracted for every move (mouse click) you made. If you set a mine off your score goes to 0. If you reach 0 without solving it you lose.
Several games were released by Tommy's Toys and Minesweeper was Shareware for $6. You mark mines with [X] and the Highscore list saves 10 scores per level.
