MegaMine was written for OS/2 in 1993 by Andreas Petersik.
Difficulty levels are the same as Windows Minesweeper (8x8 with 10 mines, 16x16 with 40 mines, 30x16 with 99 mines). You can flag and chord (either both mouse buttons or by holding [SHIFT] and clicking the left mouse button). There are no questionmarks. The Highscore list saves the best 10 scores per level. There is also an auto-flagging feature where left clicking a square will flag the mines.
Custom allows 8x8 with 10 mines to 300x200 with 5000 mines...this can be a problem because it doesn't check the maximum size of your screen and has no scrolling! One interesting option is the ability to change the colour of numbers. There is also a bug when playing Version 1.22b (on at least Warp 4.5) where the squares do not display correctly.
Originally Shareware for 15 Deutschsmark. Requires Warp 3 or Warp 4.
