Minesweeper Mania - Game Overview

Minesweeper Mania was written for WIndows in 1998 by Ron Heuse.

A combination of deductive thinking and risk taking. All sorts of Mines and Traps wait to be stumbled across. Use the many kinds of helpful items to fight back! You can use Coins which are found to purchase Health units and Items from the merchant. 12 challenging levels to survive through!

Minesweeper Mania is an arcade version of Windows Minesweeper with 12 levels. Each level has mines, coins and traps and each level becomes more difficult and introduces new traps.

The left side of the game shows accumulated traps. For example, each "Blind Eye" trap makes 10% of squares show a questionmark instead of a number. The "Health" trap makes you lose 10% of your health every 10 clicks. The right side of the game shows your collected items. For example, you can collect health points and coins. The "Repair Wrench" can be used to delete a trap while the "Merchant" suitcase lets you go shopping for supplies with your coins. When you run out of health, you lose.

Game was Shareware for $12 and only the first level can be played for free.
