A 'Hopsing' is when a minesweeper player makes a new Time and 3bv/s record in the same game.

On 10 October 2005, Robert Bendtiz (Germany) made a new Expert record of 52.06 on a 172 board at 3.30 3bv/s. This resulted in two personal records in one game. His nickname was Hopsing and the name stuck!

Robert actually made his first Hopsing a year earlier on 15 April 2004 when he scored 30.06 on a 54 3bv Intermediate board at 1.79 3bv/s.
