Players were ranked on the sum of their best 5 Intermediate and 5 Expert games and had 3 hours to play Minesweeper using Viennasweeper 3.0.2C. Each unfinished game was given a penalty of 999.999 seconds.
The 7th Russian Minesweeper Championship took place on 30 November 2013 at a computer room near the Oktyabrskaya metro station, the same venue used for the 2012 tournament. Once again the competition was organized by Konstantin Forofontov. A total of 16 players took part with 8 meeting in person and 8 playing at home using Viennasweeper with live results uploaded to Scoreganizer. A trophy was presented to the winner, medals were given to the 6 best players, and all players received a certificate for taking part. One player joined the Tournament Ranking and 4 players improved 5 previous scores.
