Rules
Players were ranked on the sum of their best 3 Intermediate and 3 Expert games and had 3 hours to play Minesweeper using Clone 0.97 beta. Each unfinished game was given a penalty of 999.99 seconds. The tournament used RT+1 but all scores have been converted to Real Time.
Details
The 1st China Minesweeper Championship took place 28 July 2007 at an internet cafe in Shanghai. The tournament was organised by the top ranked player and webmaster of the China Minesweeper Ranking site, Shen-Jia Zhang. The players used Clone 0.97 because it was not possible to install the software required by Clone 2007 on public machines. A Microsoft Intellimouse 3.0 was awarded to the best player who was not the organiser!
