Details

The 10th World Minesweeper Championship took place 9th & 10th October 2010 in Munich at an Internet Cafe on 25 Dachauer Strasse. The main event was on the Saturday with a Nonosweeper tournament on the Sunday. The original plan was to start at 14:00 but the cafe used computers with multiple operating systems and it was not possible to network the Viennasweeper client. The competition finally started at 16:18 and was shortened to 2.5 hours with the awards ceremony held at the bowling centre. The best 3 players were given trophies and medals were awarded to all participants. Unfortunately, the computer issues resulted in videos for several players being lost.
